Vendor Application for the 36th Annual Nansemond Indian Pow Wow

August 17-18, 2024 – Become a vendor at this two-day Native American cultural celebration, including music, dance, food, and crafts. The pow wow is located at the end of Pembroke Lane, which runs off Godwin Boulevard (across from Oakland Elementary School) in the Chuckatuck Borough of Suffolk.

The participation fee is $250, payable in advance by July 31, 2024. Checks should be made to the Nansemond Indian Tribal Association. There will be one (1) 20’ x 20’ space for each booth. No booth sharing is allowed, and all vendor participants must be included on this application for approval by the Nansemond Indian Tribal Association. Free camping and recreational vehicle sites are available (first come, first served).

Guidelines

  • I will bring my own table and chairs.
  • I will keep my area attractive, well stocked, and neat.
  • I will pick up the trash around my booth and keep the area clean.
  • I will provide responsible child care for any children I bring.
  • I agree to obtain all necessary permits (if applicable) to show or sell my products.
  • I agree that any insurance I require or desire is my sole responsibility.
  • I agree to hold harmless any and all representatives of the Nansemond Indian Tribal Association and the City of Suffolk for any instances, situations, or claims regarding my presence or attendance.
  • I agree to remove all trash and litter generated by my presence to the proper trash receptacles when I leave the tribal grounds.
  • I understand that no alcohol or drugs of any kind are permitted, and non-compliance will result in immediate termination of all agreements and offender will be required to leave.
